Produces Fruit in Late Summer

Origin Date: Japan, 1945

This partially self pollinating fruit tree produces crisp and sweet pears that resemble Granny Smith apples. They are great for low calorie snacking, putting in salads, or baking into bread! They produce white flowers in spring while the leaves turn red in fall. It will grow 12-18 inches after its’ first year in the ground and will produce fruit in 3 years! Although partially self pollinating, they will produce more pears if planted near another pear tree (within 100 feet).
